Welcome Parents

Wondering what to do next?

Planning for a college education can be a daunting task.  Or it can be a breeze.  Or something in-between.  Enter U Sphere, and our Parent Portal.

Here you'll find a wealth of information that can help you no matter where you are in this process.  Even if you're new to this planning game, that's okay.

12th Graders:

If you've got a future High School Senior in the house, great!  You're busy, they're busy, they are getting a summer job and getting out of your hair, and they've already figured out which 20 colleges they're going to apply to.  Right?

It's not too late...the Senior year should be lots of fun and there's a wide open world ahead of them, and you...even if you haven't done everything to plan yet, that's okay.  Start here by signing your kid up for a FREE U Sphere account, then check the rest of the Parent Portal for all that financial and psychological planning you'll need to do.

11th Graders:

Your Junior should already be getting stacks and stacks of mail from schools.  (Those big brochures that look all glossy and are aimed to make you comfortable about where your kid's going for four years?  They're called "viewbooks."  They should be recyclable, too.)  But there's more you should think about now -- especially that dose of realism if they're thinking "Ivy League" and you're thinking "I hope they get in somewhere."  Start here with our Parent Portal resources on career planning.  (Oh, and be sure to get your student a FREE U Sphere account.)

10th Graders:

Time to try new things and figure out what makes your kid tick.  Time to visit a college or two just to see what they look like and get your student thinking college.  And time to make sure your financial stuff's in order.  Click here for our listing of 529 plans -- one of the most exhaustive lists of plans you'll find anywhere.  (And it's not too early for your student to spend time "networking" with the college admissions people in our network.  Click here for a FREE U Sphere account.)

9th Graders:

Did we mention that you don't have to break the bank to afford the right school for your youngster?  Four years isn't a long time, but it's not too late to right the financial ship.  Click here and you can get personalized help on this college planning process.
